Handbuilding
Participant(s) spend up to one hour learning how to make a cup/bowl/plate/budvase on the table. Guided by our instructor.
The clay is around 1.5lbs to 2lbs.
You get to pick the color you’d like, whether black, white, or red/tan.
Pinch bowl
We call it a pinch bowl, but really it’s one of the fundamentals of handbuilding, which then you get to decide whether you want to make it wider to be a bowl or tray shape, or more taller and narrower to be a cup shape.
SlabYou can roll out a slab using some hand techniques, and use those to construct shapes that are more flat than textured like a pinched piece.
Coil
Coils are fun. you get to add the heights and they could be super tall and narrow!

Wheel Throwing
Participant(s) spend up to one hour learning how to make a cup/bowl/plate/budvase on the wheel. Guided by our instructor.
The clay is around 1.5lbs to 2lbs.
You get to pick the color you’d like, whether black, white, or red/tan.
Bowl
A bowl is easy to make in the sense that the wheel helps us open the shape wider, and you can decide whether you’re into a tall and deep bowl, versus shallower and yet wider bowl-plate, which we call, a “blate”.
Cup/MugCups are one of the most entry level projects we recommend. We will make a simple cylinder on the wheel and we will then work on the decoration such as a handle later on the table during handbuilding section.
Budvase
If it’s not your first time, or you feel pretty confident in your hand motor skills, feel free to try one of our slightly challenging budvases! The widening of the belly and then the narrowing neck is what makes it hard to make for our first timers, but give it a go!
